Baroque Rome<\/h2>\n<h3>From the Early Church to the Eternal City<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After breakfast, we begin with a visit to the <strong>Catacombs of St. Callixtus<\/strong>, one of the most important early Christian burial complexes in Rome.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Here we reflect upon the first centuries of Christianity, the witness of the martyrs and the communities that preserved their faith during times of persecution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We then continue toward the monumental center of ancient Rome.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Our visit may include the <strong>Colosseum and Roman Forum<\/strong>, providing a deeper understanding of the political, social and religious world in which Christianity first emerged and grew.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Later, we discover some of Rome&#8217;s most celebrated squares and fountains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Depending on the final walking route, we may visit the <strong>Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna and Piazza Navona<\/strong>, enjoying the extraordinary atmosphere of the Eternal City.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Time may also be provided for free exploration, shopping or a final moment of prayer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In the evening, we gather for our <strong>farewell dinner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Overnight: Rome<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Day 10 \u2014 Rome \u2013 USA<\/h2>\n<h3>Return Home<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After breakfast, at the appropriate time, transfer to <strong>Rome Fiumicino Airport<\/strong> for our return flight to the United States.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As our pilgrimage comes to an end, we return home carrying with us the witness of the Apostles, martyrs and saints we have encountered throughout Italy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We leave strengthened by the spirituality of <strong>St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Rita, St. Carlo Acutis and St. Padre Pio<\/strong>, and renewed through our time in the heart of the universal Church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arrival in the United States and end of our pilgrimage services.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #555555;
