Shrine, Carfin was created in the early 20th century and inspired by the Grotto of <strong data-start=\"5696\" data-end=\"5719\">Our Lady of Lourdes<\/strong> at Massabielle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5737\" data-end=\"5846\">Its construction was closely connected with the local Catholic community and the mining families of the area.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5848\" data-end=\"5932\">Today, Carfin remains a place of pilgrimage, Rosary, procession and Marian devotion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5934\" data-end=\"6031\">We have time for prayer and, whenever arrangements
