Day 1: ORIGIN AIRPORT – BARI

Arrival at the origin airport. Check-in and boarding procedures. Arrival in the city and transfer. If time permits, a tour of the city of San Nicola will be conducted, including visits to the Basilica of San Nicola, the Swabian Fortress, and the Medieval Old Town. Check-in at the hotel with dinner and accommodation services.

Day 2: BARI – BARLETTA – TRANI – CASTEL DEL MONTE

After breakfast, a day dedicated to visiting the beautiful Adriatic coastal cities of Barletta and Trani. Lunch at a restaurant and then departure to Castel del Monte, a curious hunting castle of Frederick II, currently a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel. Full board. Night in Bari.

Day 3: BARI – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO – FOGGIA – BARI

After breakfast, departure to San Giovanni Rotondo, where the sanctuary dedicated to Padre Pio is located, a revered figure in Italy and a special pilgrimage site. Visit to the sanctuary and its various facilities. Lunch and then departure to Foggia with a brief tour of the city and its monuments. Full board. Night in Bari.

Day 4: BARI – OSTUNI – BRINDISI – LECCE

After breakfast, departure to Ostuni, the “White City,” a delightful town with beautiful landscapes and architectural gems. Visit to the Gothic Cathedral and the column of San Oronzo. Then, continue to Brindisi, where we find the Ancient Port, marking the end of the Appian Way, the Cathedral, the Sailor’s Monument, as well as its old and commercial areas. Lunch at a restaurant and then continue to Lecce, where we will arrive with dinner and accommodation services. Full board. Night in Lecce.

Day 5: LECCE – OTRANTO – LECCE

After breakfast, a morning dedicated to the visit of Lecce, also known as the “Florence of the South,” where highlights include the Hermitage, the Roman Amphitheater, the Cathedral, the Castle, the Seminary Palace, and the Basilica of the Holy Cross. Lunch. We will then continue our journey to Otranto, known as the “Gateway to the East,” where the medieval center stands out, with the Alfonsino Castle and the Byzantine cathedral (with a 12th-century mosaic floor and the Chapel of the Blessed Martyrs of Otranto). Return to our hotel. Full board. Night in Lecce.

Day 6: LECCE – GALATINA – SANTA CESAREA TERME – GALLIPOLI – TARANTO

After breakfast, departure to Galatina, a beautiful inland town with charming corners and typical Apulian houses. Continue to Gallipoli, a peninsula on the sea that forms a beautiful isthmus of unparalleled charm. Lunch and tour of the beautiful town. Then, continue to Taranto, an important town with a glorious Greco-Roman past, where the Gold Museum stands out. Full board. Night in Taranto.

Day 7: TARANTO – MARTINA FRANCA – LOCOROTONDO – ALBEROBELLO – TARANTO

After breakfast, visit the towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo, typical Apulian towns perched on a hill with beautiful typical houses and palaces. Lunch and then continue to Alberobello, the land of the “trullos.” Visit the Holy Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian and the Sovereign Trullo. Full board. Night in Taranto.

Day 8: TARANTO – MATERA – BARI AIRPORT – ORIGIN AIRPORT

Departure to Matera. Visit to the famous “Sassi,” prehistoric rooms excavated in the stone, currently a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, head to Bari airport and check-in at least two hours before the flight departure. Check-in and boarding procedures followed by departure on our flight to the origin airport. Arrival. End of the trip and our services.
