Day 1: ORIGIN – JACA
Departure from our place of origin towards Jaca. Arrival in Jaca and check-in at our hotel. Full board. Overnight stay in Jaca.
Day 2: JACA – HUESCA – JACA
Today we will visit Huesca and the city hosting us, Jaca and Huesca. Among the places we will visit in Huesca is the Church of San Pedro el Viejo, where, according to tradition, Saint Vincent the Martyr was baptized. Other points of interest include the Basilica of San Lorenzo, the patron saint of the city, located in the square of the same name, and the Cathedral of Santa Maria, declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1931. This Gothic-style cathedral, located atop the original hill of Huesca, features a detailed facade depicting, among other scenes, the life of Jesus and the Three Wise Men. Full board. Overnight stay in Jaca.
Day 3: JACA – SANTA CILIA – LEYRE – JAVIER – LOGROÑO
Those walking the Camino will depart from Jaca and walk 15 km along the Aragonese Camino to Santa Cilia.
Those traveling by bus will have the option at 10:00 to visit the Romanesque Art Museum of the Jaca Cathedral. Then, we will proceed to Santa Cilia to pick up those walking. At 12:00, the entire group will head to the Monastery of Leyre, where the Pantheon of the first kings of the Kingdom of Pamplona is located, along with significant examples of early Romanesque art. Mass will be held at the Monastery, followed by lunch. At 16:00, we will depart for Javier, where we will remember the great missionary San Francisco, whose name is associated with his birthplace. Next, we will continue to Logroño, arriving around 17:30. Upon arrival in the capital of La Rioja, we will check into our hotel. Full board. Overnight stay in Logroño.
Day 4: LOGROÑO – NAVARRETE – NÁJERA – Santo Domingo DE LA CALZADA – CARRIÓN DE LOS CONDES
Those walking the Camino will walk from Logroño to Navarrete, covering 13 km.
Those traveling by bus will have the option at 10:00 to visit the Logroño Cathedral. At 11:00, we will depart for Navarrete to pick up those walking. From there, the entire group will head to Nájera. Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of the Monastery of Santa María la Real. This monastery is the Pantheon of the Kingdom of Nájera-Navarre, predecessor of the Kingdom of Navarre. At 13:30, the group will depart for Santo Domingo de la Calzada. At 14:15, we will have lunch at the Monastery of Santa Teresa de Santo Domingo de la Calzada, followed by Mass at 16:00. We will also visit the Cathedral. At 17:00, we will depart for Carrión de los Condes. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel. Full board. Overnight stay in Carrión de los Condes.
Day 5: CARRIÓN DE LOS CONDES – CALZADILLA DEL CAMINO – LEÓN – Santiago de Compostela
Those walking the Camino will walk from Carrión de los Condes to Calzadilla del Camino, covering 17.5 km.
Those traveling by bus will have the option at 10:00 to visit Carrión de los Condes. At 11:00, we will depart for Calzadilla del Camino to pick up those walking. Together, we will continue to León, where we are expected to arrive around 12:00. At 12:00, Mass will be held at San Isidoro. Lunch will be at 14:00, followed by our journey to Santiago de Compostela, with necessary stops along the way. Upon arrival, around 20:00, we will check into our hotel, the Benedictine Monastery of San Martín de Pinario. Full board. Overnight stay in Santiago.
Day 6: Santiago de Compostela
Today we will have a free day in Santiago. We will participate in the Pilgrim’s Mass and enjoy a special farewell dinner featuring seafood. Full board. Overnight stay in Santiago.
Day 7: Santiago de Compostela – ORIGIN
After breakfast, we will depart for our place of origin, with necessary stops along the way. Lunch. Arrival. End of the trip and our services.
