DAY 1, ORIGIN AIRPORT – TEL AVIV, NAZARETH or TIBERIAS
Arrival at the origin airport to catch our flight to Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel in Tel Aviv or in Galilee. Dinner. Night in Tel Aviv, Tiberias or Nazareth.
DAY 2, TIBERIAS or NAZARETH – HAIFA: MOUNT CARMEL – NAZARETH – CANA – TIBERIAS or NAZARETH
In the morning, head to Haifa to visit the Stella Maris sanctuary on Mount Carmel. Afterward, proceed to Nazareth to visit the Virgin’s spring, the Basilica of the Annunciation, and the Church of St. Joseph. In the afternoon, travel to Cana of Galilee, where we’ll visit the sanctuary of Jesus’ First Miracle, allowing married couples to renew their vows. At the end of the day, return to our hotel. Night in Nazareth or Tiberias. Full board.
DAY 3, TIBERIAS or NAZARETH – MOUNT OF BEATITUDES TABGHA – PRIMACY OF PETER – CAPERNAUM – SEA OF GALILEE – Mount Tabor – TIBERIAS OR NAZARETH
Dedicate the day to exploring key locations in Galilee during Jesus’ time. In the morning, visit the surroundings of the Sea of Tiberias, the “Sea of Jesus”: Mount of Beatitudes, the Tabgha sanctuary (multiplication of loaves and fishes), the sanctuary of Mensa Christi, and the Primacy of Peter. Explore Capernaum, the “city of Jesus,” and the site of Domus Petri, concluding the morning with a boat trip on the lake. In the afternoon, ascend Mount Tabor, visiting the Church of the Transfiguration. Night in Nazareth or Tiberias. Full board.
DAY 4, TIBERIAS or NAZARETH – RENEWAL OF BAPTISMAL PROMISES IN THE JORDAN – QUMRAN – DEAD SEA – BETHLEHEM
In the morning, following the Jordan River, head to the Judea region. Visit the ancient city of Jericho and enjoy panoramic views of the Mount of Temptation and the oasis of the Elisha Spring. Next to the Jordan River, renew baptismal promises. Continue to Qumran to see the archaeological remains of the Essene settlement and the caves where they hid their famous manuscripts. Move on to the Dead Sea, where you’ll have the opportunity to take a swim (bring a swimsuit and towel). Travel through the Judean Desert and conclude the journey in Bethlehem. Night in Bethlehem. Full board.
DAY 5, BETHLEHEM – SHEPHERDS’ FIELD – AIN KAREM – BETHLEHEM
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, head to Shepherds’ Field to visit the Chapel of the Angels, the remains of various Byzantine monasteries, and the ideal reconstruction of a shepherd’s cave. In the city of Bethlehem, visit the Grotto and Basilica of the Nativity, the Franciscan Church with the Chapel of St. Joseph, and the Cave of St. Jerome. In the afternoon, travel to Ain Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist, visiting the Churches of the Precursor and the Visitation. Return to our hotel in Bethlehem. Night in Bethlehem. Full board.
DAY 6, BETHLEHEM – JERUSALEM; Mount of Olives and Mount Zion
In the morning, travel to Jerusalem to visit the Mount of Olives, rich with memories of Jesus through its many sanctuaries: Chapel of the Ascension, Church of the Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, Church of Gethsemane, Cenacle, and the Church of the Tomb of the Virgin. Later, visit the Gate of St. Stephen: St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. In the afternoon, explore Mount Zion and its Christian sanctuaries: St. Peter in Gallicantu Church, the Cenacle (renewal of priestly promises), and the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin. Transfer to our hotel in Jerusalem for accommodation. Night in Jerusalem. Full board.
DAY 7, JERUSALEM: OLD CITY, HOLY SEPULCHRE, and VIA CRUCIS
In the morning, walk the Via Crucis and visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount, viewing panoramically the Omar and Al-Aqsa mosques. In the afternoon, visit the Holy Sepulchre within the Church of the Resurrection, followed by free time. Night in Jerusalem. Full board.
DAY 8, JERUSALEM – TEL AVIV – ORIGIN AIRPORT
Breakfast. Later, depart for Tel Aviv airport to catch our flight back to the origin airport. End of the journey and our services.
Daily Eucharist will be celebrated at one of the visited Sanctuaries.
