DAY 1: ORIGIN AIRPORT – THESSALONIKI
Arrival at the origin airport two hours before our flight to Thessaloniki. Upon arrival, welcomed by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Dinner. Night in Thessaloniki.
DAY 2: THESSALONIKI – PHILOPPI – LYDIA – KAVALA – LION OF AMPHIPOLIS – THESSALONIKI
Breakfast at the hotel, heading to Philippi, where Saint Paul preached in 53 A.D. Visit archaeological remains, including Forums, Basilica, theater, and “La Palestra.” Proceed to Lydia, where Saint Paul baptized the first European woman. Holy Mass. Arrival in Kavala, Saint Paul’s first landing in continental Greece. En route to Thessaloniki, stop at Amphipolis to see the famous Lion of Amphipolis. Arrival in Thessaloniki, founded in 316-315 B.C. Visit St. Demetrius or St. Sophia Church. Full board. Night in Thessaloniki.
DAY 3: THESSALONIKI – VERIA – METEORA – KALAMBAKA
Breakfast, heading to Veria, where Saint Paul addressed the crowd. Continue to Kalambaka. Lunch at a picturesque restaurant near Meteora. Visit two hanging monasteries, ancient monastic centers from the 12th to 17th centuries. Full board. Night in Kalambaka.
DAY 4: KALAMBAKA – THERMOPYLAE – DELPHI
Breakfast, depart to Delphi via Thermopylae, site of the famous battle. Visit the monument to King Leonidas. Lunch. Explore Delphi, known for its Oracle, sanctuary of Apollo, and ancient pilgrimage site. Full board. Night near Delphi.
DAY 5: DELPHI – OSSIOS LOUKAS – ATHENS
Breakfast, depart to Athens with a stop at Ossios Loukas, a 11th-century Byzantine monastery. Explore Athens, where St. Paul preached, including the Acropolis, Parthenon, Erechtheion, Propylaea, and Areopagus. Panoramic city tour. Holy Mass. Full board. Night in Athens.
DAY 6: ATHENS – CORINTH – MYCENAE – EPIDAURUS – ATHENS
Breakfast, full-day excursion to Corinth, Mycenae, and Epidaurus. Stop at the Corinth Canal. Visit ancient Corinth, Mycenae’s cyclopean fortress, and Epidaurus with its ancient theater. Return to Athens. Full board. Night in Athens.
DAY 7: ATHENS – SAILING IN THE SARONIC GULF – ATHENS
Breakfast, transfer to Trocadero port for a full-day cruise in the Saronic Gulf with lunch onboard. Visit Poros, Hydra, and Aegina. Return to Athens in the evening. Transfer to the hotel. Full board. Night in Athens.
DAY 8: ATHENS – ORIGIN AIRPORT
Breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight. Check-in and boarding procedures. Arrival, end of the journey, and our services.
