Day 1: ORIGIN PLACE – TOLEDO – TRUJILLO
At the designated time, we will depart from our place of origin towards Toledo. Lunch will be included at a restaurant, followed by a brief yet interesting tour of the city, passing through its most notable monuments such as the Cathedral, the Church of Santo Tomé, La Casa del Greco, etc. Afterwards, we will continue to Trujillo, where we will arrive by late evening. Lunch and dinner included. Night in Trujillo.
Day 2: TRUJILLO – FATIMA
After breakfast, we will head towards the Marian Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima. Upon arrival, lunch will be served at the hotel, followed by free time to explore the city of Fátima, an important pilgrimage center. We will visit the Basilica of the Rosary, the Colonnade, and the Apparition Sites. Throughout the day, we will have the opportunity to participate in religious events such as processions and masses. Full board. Night in Fátima.
Day 3: FÁTIMA – BATALHA – ALCOBAÇA – NAZARÉ – FÁTIMA
After breakfast, we will depart for Batalha, where the Monastery ordered by King John I of Portugal was built in 1386 to commemorate the Battle of Aljubarrota, where the Portuguese defeated the Castilians. We will then continue to Alcobaça, known for its Cistercian monastery. The day will conclude with a visit to the picturesque coastal town of Nazaré, where we can enjoy a leisurely stroll. Return to Fátima. Full board. Night in Fátima.
Day 4: FATIMA – OPORTO – COIMBRA – FATIMA
After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day excursion to discover Porto, the second most important city in Portugal, situated at the mouth of the Douro River. We will have lunch at a restaurant. On our way back, we will stop at Coimbra, the country’s renowned university city, situated on a hill overlooking the river, offering beautiful views from the University terrace. Highlights include the Monastery of Santa Cruz, the Old and New Cathedrals, as well as its beautiful urban layout. Return to Fátima at the designated time. Full board. Night in Fátima.
Day 5: FATIMA – LISBON – MÉRIDA (or area)
After breakfast, we will head to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, where we will take a panoramic tour of its most significant monuments, such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries, Commerce Square, Marques de Pombal Square, etc. Lunch will be served at a restaurant before continuing our journey towards Mérida, crossing the beautiful Portuguese region of Extremadura. Arrival in Mérida (or area). Full board. Night in Mérida.
Day 6: MÉRIDA (or area) – GUADALUPE – TALAVERA – PLACE OF ORIGIN
After breakfast, we will visit Guadalupe with its numerous buildings from the 14th and 15th centuries, including the Palace of the Marqués de la Romana and the Noble Hospice with its Mudéjar cloister. Guadalupe’s main monument is the Jerónima Order Monastery in Spain. At the agreed time, we will continue to Talavera de la Reina. Arrival and lunch included at a restaurant. Later, we will continue our return journey to our place of origin, making necessary stops along the way.
